About Us

My name is Rachel, and I’m lucky enough to be on this adventure with my husband Dain and our two year old daughter, Olive.  We hail from St. Louis Park, Minnesota.  I’m starting this blog to document our journey feeding Olive.  It’s a rather long story, but the short version is that due to pre-eclampsia Olive was born at 28 weeks gestation weighing 1 pound, 9 ounces.  She had a complicated medical course staying in the hospital for 94 days. For various reasons, she never learned how to eat. And here we are nearly three years later struggling to teach our daughter a skill that comes naturally for most kids.
